PROSPE TING.
lo the Editor of the West Coast Times and
Observer.
Sib — I perceive by your paper that the committee appointed at the public meeting are taking active steps towards raising tbe requisite fun- Is for carrying out the objects of the Prospecting Association, and it is to be hoped that by Wednesdaj' night a very M'hkl sum will ha\-e been subscribed. It will then be for the miners to conic forward and give the committee every infm matiou as to the best localities to be prospected, and also to suggest the mode which would be most desirable and acceptable to those wishing to form prospecting parties, and tbe sooner they do s > tbe quicker will the committee be enabled to take measures for putting the undertaking in train. Hoping that "the ball will be kept rolling." I remain, Sir, Yours truly, ADVANCE WESTLAND.
