A man named Dalwood, who returned by the Moonta, after accompanying Mr Goyder to the Northern Territory, has been committed for trial on a charge of bigamy. Dr Berncastle, of Melbourne, has sent instructions to Mr Bakewell to enter an appearance for him in an action which has been commenced by Mrs Wincey, for unprofessional treatment. At an anti-ritualistic meeting, held last night, a number of persons signed a memorial against ritualism, and passed resolutions censuring the Bishop for his undignified reception of a deputation which recently waited upon him on the subject, and pleading that the laity were compelled to take action as the Synod were powerless to prevent any innovations. Further resolutions were passed for the formation of a " guarantee fund " to su<tain any action likely to be taken. Almanda shares are reviving, and were inquired for to-day at upwards of £2. Wheat is quoted to-day at 5s lid for export, and 4s lOd to 4s lid for town delivery. Flour is nominal at £11 10s to £13 10s. May 10. The branch mail steamer was in sight at half-past one o'clock. The quartz reefs about Sixth Creek present a very promising appearance. The market for breadstuff's is quite without alteration in prices. May 11. Mr Harvey, connected with the Port Augusta Railway sheme, has arrived by the mail. The English news generally has had little or no effect upon our markets. No letters have been received by this opportunity from the Northern Territory. , The wheat market is very firm, and sales have taken place at 5s 6d. Country Hour is selling at &11 10s to £12. j
