Binney reports the following sales for the month :—: — Sept. sth. — In the rooms, half sardines, 9s; lobsters, 7s 6d; Deans's flour, £21; Melhourne mills, £23; Woods's £22; Grig's coffee, Is I£dtols3d; pepper, 10d; mustard, 8d; Coey'shatns, Is 2d; salmon, 16s; maziena, 8d; kerosene, 3s; Lewis's condensed milk, 15s; Canterbury butter, Is 2d. Sale at Dooley's cordial manufactory, consisting of trade implements, &c, at satisfactory prices. Also, the following properties: — Three two-roomed cottages, Revell-street north, £22; section and two cottages in Bealey-street, £70. Sept. 12. — Ex Heron and Mary Cumming — bran Is9dto Is lid per bushel ; cbaff, £14 10s to £15 per ton; hay, £10; peas, 6s 3d per bushel; jar jams, B£d per lb; oatmeal, £20 10s per ton; dried herbs, £2 2s 6d per bag; V.D.L. sft. palings, 17s per 100; fire-bricks, £15 5s per 1000; lime, 52s 6d per hhd; cement, 25s per barrel; prime butter, Is Id per lb; kerosene, 2s lod per gallon. Sale of ropes and tackle used in launching the Mary Cumming and Zephyr sold at good prices. Sale of furniture at J. R. Carey's, Esq,, M.C.C., at very excellent prices. Sept. 26. — Ex John Perm, from Nelson — Carrots, £6 per ton; potatoes, £8; onions,- 5d per lb. Ex sundries — chaff, £15 per ton; Gawn's flour, £22; Wood's, £20; Green's, Tasmanian, £20; Byass' porter, 12s per dozen; green peas, 2d per lb. Also the following properties : — Brigantine Isabella, £350; Jones's Commercial Sale Yards, Revell street, £200; Jones's paddock, Arahura, £190.
