RESIDENT MAGISTRATE'S COURT.

Larcexy. — William Wiggins was charged with the larceny of tassels of the value of , 20s. the property of Julies Mat'thies. — Prisoner pleaded guilty, and stated that he was drunk at the time, and did not know what ho was doing. — His Worship sentenced prisoner to fourteen days' imprisonment.
CIVIL CASES.
Bernard and Hinchcliff v. Richmond. — A claim for £10 8s Bd, halance of au account rendered. — No- appearance of defendant. — His worship said that he could not allow the item, £3 3s, for services, and should therefore give judgment for £7 2s Bd. The Court then adjourned till 11 o'clock Monday.
