The Customs Tariff Amendment Act, 1867, contains the following alterations hi the duty on coffee — Coffee raw, 3d per lb. Coffee roasted, 5d per lb. By manufacturing all their coffee on the West Coast, P. and Co. are enabled to supply their superior coffee, fresh roasted, two-pence per pound below any foreign manufacturers.
