The schooner Waterman arrived yesterday from Hokitika, after a most tempestuous passage. For no fewer than seventeen days sho had to contend against very heavy westerly gales, but notwithstanding tho severe weather the schooner behaved herself admirably. — Melbourne "Argus," Dec. 11. The schooner Mary Gumming sailed from Newcastle, bound to Melbourne, on the 11th instant, and the Sarah and Mary on the 12th instant.
