Remanded to Hokitika tUI 2nd December, to appear at Resident Magistrate's Court there. Bail, self in LSO, and two sureties of L 25 each taken. Tuesday, December 3. Drunkenness. —Robert Morrison was charged with being drunk and disorderly. Fined LI, or forty-eight hours' imprisonment. Assault. —Andrew Swan was charged with having committed an assault upon Thomas Brown. No appearance of defendant. Case adjourned till the 10th December, for attendance of defendant, against whom a warrant of arrest is to issue. Destruction of Property. —David Heelan was charged with wilfully destroying the property of Edward M'Lean, amounting to L 3. No appearaneo, information dismissed '

Skogland, James Aspinwall, Raymond Eoscliig, Josiah Bramhall, Denis Hannan, Robert Stevenson, John Vickers, Thomas Jones, Robert Jackson and Robert M'Callum were summoned for this offence. Cases withdrawn. Informations dismissed. The Court then adjourned.
