POSTAL NOTICE.
On and after the Ist of January, 1867, the following rates of postage will be charged on all letters and newspapers posted in New Zealand f jr delivery within the colony :— I. — TOWN EETTEBS. Posted at any post office within the colony for delivery at or from such post office : — Not exceeding half-an-ounce ... Id. Exceeding half-an-ounce, but - not exceeding one ounce ... 2d. For every ounce, or fraction of an ounce over one ounce .. . 2d. II. — COUNTBT LETTERS. Posted afc any post office within the colony for delivery at or from any other post office within the same province : — Not exceeding half-an-ounce ... 2d. Exceeding half-an-ounce, but not exceeding one ounce ... 4d. For every ounce, or fraction of an ounce over one ounce .-. . 4d. HI. — INTEKPROVINOIAI. IBTTEBS. Posted at any post office within the colony for delivery at or from any post office in any ; other province wifliin the colony:-— Not fxc-e.'iling half-an-ouuce... 3d. Exceeding lnilf-an-ounce, but not exfpeding one ounce ... 6d. For every ounce, or fraction of itn ounce over one ounce ... 6d. On nil Newspapers posted within the colony for delivery 'within the colony, One Penny each.
