MEXICO.

Late advices from Mexico represent that. Juarez is a candidate for re-election to the Presidency of the Republic. General Escobedo has published a letter, in which he proclaims " Death to I all foreigners, says that Mexico must be made entirely Mexican ; that the property of those who have aided the Imperial cause must be taken from them and distributed among loyal Mexicans, and that every stranger must be hunted out of Mexico." This barbarous and bloodthirsty letter General Escobedo defines as his unalterable platform, and states that he intends to run for some office upon it. General Diaz has ordered the imprisonment, of all the Foreign Representatives who do not at once recognise the Liberai Government. , General Escobedo appears to be very bitter in his feelings towards Americans, for he Las declared that the time will come when Yankee notables will be begg'ng for their own heads instead of those of Austrians. Santa Anna is still alive in Campeachy. Twelve more Imperial Generals and four Colonels have been shot at Queretaro. General Ortega is reported to be still imprisoned in Monterey, and it is said that he has become insaue. General Vidaurri was found concealed in the house of an American in the city of Mexico. He was at once tried by Court Martial, condemned and shot. Generals Marquez and O'Horan have not yet been captured. The subalterns of the Imperial Army have beeu released from imprisonment, and the remaining unshot Imperal Generals will be sent to their respective States for trial.
