The "Daily Times" of tho 27th ultimo, reports : — • During the last day or two the business done has been light, aud limited to the supply of trade parcels and to a few goods shipping coastwise. In the import market there hare been no considerable operations. BreadstiuTs are very quiet, and in imported flour next to nothing is doing. No inquiry has been manifested for spirits and wines, nor have malt liquors, cither in bulk or bottle, had anj r attention. Sugars and toas have been selling, but- in these as in other goods there is no disposition to other than very moderate purchases. In consequence of the late small shipmeals of hops, holders aro seeking a better prieo for the few on hand. Oamaru wheat is reported as having been placed in considerable quantity at advanced rates.
