INSOLVENCY JURISDICTION.
Monday, Septbmrer 30. (Before Mr Justice Richmond). RE PATRICK POWER. This case stood over fromvfche 23rd inst., at the request of the Inspector in Bankruptcy, to give the petitioner an opportunity of appearing. \ Mr Graham now reported to the Cdu^t that Power was still absent, nor had K| made his appearance since protection wjp granted. • f His Honor dismissed the petition. ,'•' XX MARK SPROT. ? Mr Harvey moved for petitioner's final discharge, and presented a recommen^ac tion signed by a majority of the creditors in petitioner's private estate, setting forth their' willingness' that he should at once' obtain relief under the Debtor and Creditors' Act, at the same time expressing their full confidence in him, and regretting the apparently unavoidable circumstances which had placed him ]^ a present position. His Honor said that he was happy to accede to the request. It was not often that a petitioner came before him so strongly recommended. The final discharge would be granted, subject to proof upon affidavit that tho requirements of the Act had been complied with. The Court then rose.
