POSTAL NOTICE.
On and after the Ist of January, 1867, the following rates of postage will be charged on all letters and newspapers posted in New Zealand fir delivery within the colony :—: —
I. — TOWN LETTERS.
Posted at any post office within the colony for delivery at or from such post office : —
Not exceeding half-an-ounce ... Id. Exceeding half-an-ounce, but ' not exceeding one ounce . . . 2d. For every ounce, or fraction of an ounce over one ounce ... 2d. II. — COtTNTBY lETTEBS.
Posted at any post office within the colony for delivery at or from any other post oflice within tho same province : —
Not exceeding half-an-ounce ... 2d. Exceeding half-an-ounco, but not exceeding one ounce ... 4d. For every ounce, or fraction of an ounce over one ounce ... 4d. 111. — INTEBPEOVINOIAL LETTEES.
Posted at any post office within the colony for delivery at or from any post office in any other province within the colony :—• Not exceeding half-au-ounce ... 3d. Exceeding half-an-ouncc, but not exceeding one ounce ... 6cl. For every ounce, or fraction of an ounce over one ounce ... 6d.
