NOTICE. OWING to an error in the circular which was issued respecting the proposed ASSEMBLY BALLS, it has been considered advisable to notify by advertisement that the first of the series will take place on THTTESDAY EVENING NEXT, the 15th inst., at Hansen's Ball-room, Sewell street. It is very desirable that all replies to circulars should be sent in to the Secretary not later than next Wednesday morning. In the absence of the treasurer, Mr Sale, subscriptions will be received and tickets issued by Mr Gilles, who has kindly consented to act for him. 9820
