AugUSt Z, low i. The English mail, via Suez, reached Bluff Harbor on the 18th ult., by the steamship Rangitoto from Melbourne, and a telegraphic summary of the news was published on the following day. The Hokitika portion of the mail was brought by coadh from Christchurch, and delivered on the 24th "ult. The Panama Mail arrived at Wellington on the 25th July, and the later news was transmitted by telegraph on the same day. The Mails for Hokitika j were delivered in town on the 28th. Our present summary of intelligence is transmitted by the Airedale, whose Mails for America and Europe will be transhipped to the Rakaia at Wellington. , Our present dates from London are to June the 3rd by newspaper, and June 14th by telegraph ; from America to June 11th from New York, and June 25th from Panama. For the future, the Summary of the West Coast' Times will be published fortnightly, for transmission alternately by the Panama and Suez routes. We furnish below a resumt of the history of the month.
