For Sale. FOR SALE, A first-class PICOLO PIANO, in rosewood case. Also, A 3-STOP HARMONIUM. Cohen Bhothees, Furniture Warehouse, 9457 Weld street. IMPORTANT NOTICE TO CAPITALISTS, SHAREHOLDERS, AND OTHERS. SALE OF THE ROSS AND HOKITIKA TRAMWAY. IN LIQUIDATION. FOR SALE, that well known and valuable property, the Ross and Hokitika Tramway, together with Office, Horse, Dray, Truck, &c, &c. This Tramway has already been completed for nearly a mile towards the beach, and, within the last week, about LIOO have been expended upon it, in reducing the gauge, and covering it with a coat of gravel ballast, and, at the present time it can compare favorably with any other line on the West Coast. The whole plant will be sold at a mode, rate valuation and on liberal terms to a responsible purchaser, or any newlyformed company, who would be willing to extend the line to the beach. About LBOO would suffice to carry the line to the beach, when the traffic would ensure a large return. The important mining claims round the township will shortly be entirely dependent on the Tramway for all their supplies of firewood, &c., &c, and this trade alone will be a large source of income. Intending purchasers are requested to communicate with the undersigned, who will furnish all particulars as to price, terms, &c, &c. H. Knox, Liquidator. Ross, July 4, 1867. 9.556
