Greeting :—: — WHEREAS an action is now pen ding in our Supreme Court of New Zealand, in the Westland district, between Freileiick William Ilemecke and William Fox, tr.idinif under the style or firm of F. W. Heinecke and Co., of Melbourne, in the colony of Victoria, merchants, plaintiffs; and Alwin Pahn, lale of Hokitika, in the Westland district aforesaid, tobacconist, defendant. And in oiderthat the plaintiffs may proceed in the said action, we command that you detain and keep all and singular the moneys and chattels, bills, bonds, and oilier property of whatsoever nature in the custody or under your control at the time of the service of this writ, belonging to the abovenamed Alwin Pahn, or to or in whi< h such defendant shall be legally or equitably entitled or otherwise beneficially interested. And we command you that you and each of you, in your own proper persons, be and appear before such Judge of our said Supreme Court as shall be sitting at Hokitika on Saturday, the ninth day of February next, at ten o'clock in the forenoon, and there to be examined touching the premises, and to do and to receive what shall then and there be considered of in that behnlf, and this you shall in no wise omit.
