Dui/nkennuss. — Alexander Johnston (ou bail) was called, uud fuiliug to put in au appuaranco, bib recognizance was estreated. Wilful Dkstihtction, &c. — Henry Killen and John Owons woro respectively, fined 10s for tho wilful destruction of private properly ; in default, 24 hours' imprisonment. Disorderly CoKdpct. — Matthew Lennon, Andrew llaydon, and Christopher .Arly were respectively fiuod L 2 for disorderly conduct ; in default, four days' imprisonment. Another charge was preferred against them, for discharging fire arms in the Btreet. From the evidence, it was apparent that the accused had rocklessly discharged loaded fire arms in the public streets, and his Worship refused to give them the option of a fine, and sentenced them respectively to four days' imprisonment*

Lahckniv— Robert Proudfool (on remand) was churged with steeling certain articles of wearing apparel,. but owing to the inability of the police to procure the attendance of the prosecutor, he was discharged. Vaokaxcy. — Thomas Kersey was charged, under the Vagrant Act, for endeavoring to impose upon a private individual by false representations. Ho was remanded till tomorrow, in order that tho attendance of witnesses might bo secured for the prosecution. Bueacu of License, &o. — The charge against Victor Frank for having had tho bar of Ilia hotel open after hours, in contravention to the terms of his license, was then proceeded with, and resulted in his being fined the sum of twenty shillings. Depositing- Caecase, &c. — The adjourned information against John Cheffings, for depositing a dead carcase above high water mark at the Arahura, was proceeded with, and rosuited in a dismissal.
