August 26. The Empress of Mexico has arrived.
" La Nazione" states that General Manebrea has demanded the restitution of all the works of art and pbjects precieux taken away' recently from Venice by Austria, including the iron crown of Lombardy. The same journal states that the Austrians trusted with the negotiations appear to be animated by a conciliatory spirit. "
