Wednesday, October 10. Mr Reynolds has tabled a motion of want of confidence in the Ministry, for Friday next-. The annual agricultural shoAv takes place to-morrow. Parliament has consequently adjourned till Friday.
Government has promised to announce a policy in respect to the northern territory in tAvo or three days. In Mr M'Kinlay's report he speaks highly of Cliff Head, Anson Bay, and strongly blames the conduct of Mr Manton, the acting Government resident. A call of the Assembly has been made for Friday, to consider the Constitution Act Amendment Bill.

Hitchen, the second great billiard player of England, is coming out to Melbourne next month to settle there.
