We publish our present Summary for despatch from Melbourne by the P. and O. Comjmny's steamer, owing , to :m alteration in the arrangements of the Panama line.
The English July mails arrived at the' Bluff by the Albion, from Melbourne, on the 17th September, and the heads of -intelligence were transmitted by electric- teregraph. The interest of the Bluff telegrams was however, superseded by the almost 'simultaneous arrival in the roadstead of the steamer Rangitoto, from Sydney, putting us in possession of files of Euglish p.ipers to tlie latest date. The papers were supplemented by telegraphic intelligence to as late as the 16th August. The Panama Company's steamer Ruahine arrived at Wellington ou the 2nd October, bringing files of Englishpapers to the 2nd August, and telegraphic intelligence from New York to tho 2 1st, and from Europe* (by Atlantic cable) to the 20th v August. ' The August mails by the Suez rout will be due at * the Bluff Harbor to morrow.
