In the Assembly, the motion respecting the renewal of state aid lapsed, through a count out, this morning. This evening Mr M'Pberson moved the adjournment of the House, to ascertain the opinion of the state-aid party, whether they should renew the debate or bring pressure to bear on the Government to make the question a Ministerial one.

The Helen reports three vessels loading at Mauritius for Melbourne, and five <dor other Australian ports.
