Monday Evening. The amount of import duty collected at the Custom House to-day was £716 15s 2d. The following list of merchandise cleared ■hews its distribution :—: —

Adelaide flour may be quoted £21 to £25 per ton ; Christchurch and Dunedin, £21 to £2?. Horsefeed has givon way in vt.l ie We hear of a sale of oats having been eliected at 7« fid per bushel. The market remains overstocked with chafl", and £20 to 21 may be queted as full value. In provisions, little has been" done, and prices remain nominal.
