Monday, 30th Jolt.

Dbtjnk and Disorderly. — William Porter was fined ss, and 15s respectively for this offence, or in default 48 hours imprisonment with hard labor.

Drunk and Incapable.— Hugh Craig was fined ss, or in default 24 hours imprisonment. A further charge of wilful destruction of Government property was brought against Craipr, wbo was fined £l, and ordered to pay £2 3s, the value of the damaged property— a waterproof coat. Labcent.— G-. H. Chamberlain, J. A. Carr, and J. Aldridge were brought up on remand from the 21st, charged with the larceny of revolvers from the camp. A fresh information was laid against prisoner Carr, charging him with "Larceny as a Police Officer." The charge, as against Chamberlain and Aldridge, was proceeded with, when the evidence of Consfable Muller and Sergeant Dyer was taken, which was a recapitulation of the evidence given on a former occasion— nothing fresh being elicited. In the case of prisoner Carr, a portion of the evidence, which was taken on the 21st, was repeated. The evidence in both cases is similar, but the depositions are kept distinct, as Carr is charged for this offence as a pelice constable. The prisoners, at the request of the police, were further remanded until the Bth of August. The Court was adjourned until eleven o'clock to-day.
