The rei suit is flattering and gratifying, in having so many friends in the district where I am known ; I shall endeavor to the utmost of my ability to increase a-nd cement that friendship throughout Westland by doing my duty, not only towards the Totara district, whose progress is identical with Westland's future prosperity, but also for the whole of the Wostland goldfields. I THE Undersigned John Gow, hereby 5 make application to register the " Scandinavian Gold-mining Company under the provisions of the " Mining Company's Liability Act, 1865," and I do solemnly and sincerely declare that the following statement is, to the best of my belief and knowledge, true in every particular. 1. The name and style of the Company is the " Scandinavian Gold-mining Company." 2. The place of operation is at Ross. 3. The nominal capital of the Company is (£3000) Three Thousand Pounds sterling, in (15) fifteen shares of (£200) Two Hundred Pounds each. 4. The amount of capital paid up is (£1000) One Thousand Pounds sterling. 5. The. name of the manager is John Gow. 6. The Office of the Co rpany is at the Stores of J. Gibson and Co., R*oss. 7.
