Friday, 4.58 p.m. Arrived — The Tambo and William Miskin, from Hokitika ; the Kennedy, from Nelson ; the Murray, from Melbourne, with a full cargo. Mr Watts the storekeeper has been found dead, with his face downwards in a water hole, about four miles from Greymouth, on the Arnold track. He is believed to be the other victim spoken of by Sullivan. The body of a man, minus his head, and with both his leg bones broken, has been found at the Arnold* junction. The weather is fine ; wind, North.
