XIV, No 2.." we, tho undersigned householders of tho town of Hokitika (having signed tho petition praying that Hokitika might be constituted a Municipal District), hereby call a public meeting of householders and others, who are entitled to vote ' for the election of members of tho Hokitika Municipal Council, to be held at the Prince of Wales Opera House, on Wednesday, the 27th day of June, 1866, at 4 o'clock p.m., for the purpose of electing two persons to act as assessors at tho election of Municipal Councillors ; and, also for tho purpose of nominating candidates for tho Hokitika Municipal Council.
