XIV, No 2.," vro, the undersigned householders of the town of Hokitika (having signed the petition praying that Hokitika might be constituted a Municipal District), hereby call a public meeting of householders and others, who are entitled to vote for the election of mem-* bers of the Hokitika Municipal Council, to be held at the Prince of Wales Opera House, on Wednesday, the 27th day of June, 1866, at 4 o'clock p.m., for the purpose of electing two persons to act as assessors at the election of Municipal Councillors ; and, also for the purpose of nominating candidates for the Hokitika Municipal Council.
