West Coast Times. MONDAY, JUNE 18, 18G6.
In consequence of the demand for the WasT Coast Times, for despatch by the Panama mail, being greatly in excess of the number of copies issued, wo publish this morning a second edition of the Summary, accompanied by a supplement containing local and other general news. The mail by the Airedale, for Europe and the colonies, closes this morning at ten o'clock. Newspapers forwarded by this route require to have a penny stamp affixed to them.
We invariably give notice that orders for extra copies of the Times for despatch by the mail, must be forwai'ded to tli9 office on the day previous to publication. In the event of this being done, the probable demand for the paper can always be anticipated and met; but it is impossible to execute orders for extra copies after the forms have been taken from the machine. On the present occasion we adopt the only course open to. us to meet the demaud, but must for the future request that orders may be sent in, in compliance with the terms of our notice.
