An exhibition of tho products, manufactures, and arts of Noiv South Wales, South Australia, Queensland, Western Australia, 1 Tasmania, New Zealand, and Victoria, will bo hold in Melbourne in 1866. The Exhibition will open not earlier than the month of August, and will remain open for not less than two months. Tho Commissioners will be prepared to receive articles intended for exhibition from tho Ist to tho 21st of July inclusive In order to give the Commissioners the opportunity of making adequato arrangements, forms of application for space should be sont in without delay, and in no caso will applications bo received later than tho 17th June, 1866. Intending exhibitors are requested to give a full description of thoir goods on the form on the .other side, and particularly to desoribe all points of novelty or originality in tho objeots exhibited. Exhibitors must state whether thoy aro the designers, inventors, manufacturers, or producers of tho ar tides they propose to oxhibit. Tho Commissioners reserve to themselves tho right to receive for exhibition only, and not for competition (if spaco admit), any object not the produce of the above-mentioned Colonies, which may be considered to possess especialmerit. The Commissioners decline to receive any articlo they may think unsuitable to the Exhibition,' or objects of an inflammatory, offensive, perishable, or dangerous obaracter, Counters and wall space will be provided. All goods and articles for exhibition must bo delivered at tho building at tho charge and risk of tho exhibitor. Articles and packages will bo unloaded at tho building. Should tho exhibitors or their agents not bo present, tho packages ill poned by tho officers of tho Exhibition, and tho contents distributed with care, but at tho risk of tho exhibitor. Tiokots will bo issued to every exhibitor, his agent, or servant, to onablo him to pass into the building between cortain hours to arrango tho articles for exhibition. These tiokets must bo produced on entrance, and given up when required. '. Exhibitors may employ assistants to keep in ordor tho articles they oxhibit, or to oxplain them to visitors, after obtaining written permission from tho Commissioners to that effect. Freo admission, wiihin limits to be fixed by the Commissioners, will bo given to visitor or thoir agents, ' Effectual means will bo taken, through tho agency of tlio police and otherwise, to guard against firo and protcot tho property in tho exhibition ; but tho Commissioners will not be responsible for losses by firo, robbery, acoidont, or damago of any kind. Medals or certificates of merit will bo awarded in tho different classes. 1 Prices may bo affixed to tho articles exhibited. Articles of great sizo and weight, tho placing of which will i-cquiro considerable labor, must bo sent on or before tho 14th of Juno 5 and persons wishing to exhibit raaohinory or other objects that will require foundations, must make a declaration to that effeofc in their application for spaco. Any exhibitor whose goods can properly bo placed togothor will bo at liberty to arrango such gooda in his own way, provided his arrangom'ents are compatible with tho gonoral scheme of tho exhibition, and tho convonionoo of other exhibitors.
