Regulations for' tite guidance of Intending ExmniT ors. An exhibition of tho products, manufactures, and arts of Now South Wales, South Australia, Queensland, Western Australia, Tasmania, New Zealand, and Vfoloria, will bo hold in Melbourno in 1866. The Exhibition will open not earlier than tho month' of August, and will romain open for not less than two months. Tho Commissioners will be prtyarcd to recoive artiolos intended for exhibition from tho Ist to tho '21 Bt of July inclusive. ' Iv order to givo tho Commissioners the opportunity of making adequate arrangements, forms of application for spaco should be sent in without delay, ancl in no caso will applications be received later than tho 17th June, 1866. Intending oxhibitors aro requested to givo a full description of their goods on the x form on the other side, and particularly to desoribo all points qf novelty or originality in the objeots exhibited. Exhibitors must state whether thoy aro the designers, inventors, manufacturers, or producora of the articles thoy proposo to exhibit. Tho Commissioners reserve to themselves the right to receive for oxhibi'ion only, and not for competition (if space, ad(njt), any object not the produce of tho above-mentioned Colonies, which may be considered to possess especial merit. The Commissioners decline/to receive any article thoy may thiuk unsiutablo to the Exhibition, or objects of an inflammatory, offensive, porishablo, or dangerous oharaotor, Counters and wall space will bo provided. All goods and articles for exhibition must bo delivered at tho building at the charge and risk of tho exhibitor. Articles and packages will bo unloaded at tho building. - Should the oxhibitors or their agents not be present, the paokages poucd by the ofliceis'of tho Exhibition, and tlio contents distributed with care, but at 'tho risk of tho exhibitor. Tiokots wijl be issjied (o every oxhibitor, his agent, or servant, to onablo him' to pass into the building botwecn cortuin, hours to arrango tho articles for exhibition. These tickets must bo produced on entrance, and givou up when required. Exhibitors may employ assistants to keep in order tho articles they exhibit, or to explain them to visitors, aftgr obtaining written permission from tho Commissioners to that cflfcot. Frco admission, within limits to be fixed by the Commissioners, will bo given to visitor or their agents. Effeotual means will bo taken, through tho agency of tho police' and otherwise, to .guard agiiinst firo and protect tho property in tho exhibition ; but tho Commissioners will not be responsible for losses by fire, robbery, acoidont, or damago of any kind. MedAls pr certificates of mQiit will bo awarded in tlio different classes. Prices may bo' affixed to the articles exhibited. Articles of great size and weight, tho placing of which will requiro considerable labor, must bo sent on or before tho 14th of Juno ; and persons wishing to exhibit machinory or other objects that will requiro foundations, must mako a declaration to that effcot in their appHcati6n for spaco. Any oxhibitor whoso goods can properly bp placocl togethor will' bo at liberty to arrango suoh goods in his own way, provided his arrangements are compatiblo with tho gonoral scheme of the exhibition, and the convenience of other oxhibitors.
