Tho past week hns been uucoinmonly dull in business, partly owing to tho sorority of tho weathor on Wednesday and Thursday, when tho packers were unablo to cross tho creeks. At tho only auction salo which was hold — the salo of tho stock of Messrs. Unrt nnd Lovy, who aro retiring from business hero — fnir prices wore obtained. Demand having been bo limited throughout' tho" week, no special changes iv prices can bo quoted. Among the articles most in demand may bo mentioned butter, palo brandy, and horsofeed.
