( An exhibition of the products, manufactures, and arts of New South Wales, SQuth Australia, Queensland, Western Australia, Tasmania, New Zealand, and Victoria, will bo held inMelbourno in 1866. Tho Exhibition will open not earlier than tho month of August, and will remain i open for not less than two months. ' Tho Commissioners will be prtpared to receive .articles intended for exhibition from tho Ist to 1 tho 21st of July inclusive. Ifl "order to give tho Commissioners the opportunity of making adequate arrangements, forms of application for space should be sent in without delay, and' in no caso will applications be received later than tbo 17th Juno, 1866. Intending exhibitors aro r'equektpd to give a full description of their goods on the form on the other side, and' particularly to desoribe all points of novelty or originality in the objeots exliibited. ' Exhibitors must state whether thoy aro the designers, inventors, manufacturers, or producers of the articles they propose to exhibit. The Conimissioners rescrvo to themselves tho right'to receive for exhibition only, and not for competition (if spaco adms, any object not the produce of the above-mentioned Colonies, which may be considered to possess especial merit. ' The C6mmissioners define to receive any article they may think unsuitable to tho Exhibition, or objects "of an inflammatory, offensive, perishable, or dangerous character. Counters and wall space will bo provided. All goods and articles for exhibition must be delivered at the building at the chargo and risk of the exhibitor. Articles and packages will bo unloaded at tho ' building. ■ Should the exhibitors or their agents not be present, tho packages ill pened by the ofli|ccrs of tho Exhibition, and tho contents distrib uted with care, but , at the risk of the oxbibitor. Tickets will be issued to every exhibitor, his i agent, or servant, to enable him to pass into the building betweeii certain hours to nrrahgo tho (articles for exhibition. These tickets must bo produced on entrance, and given up when required. Exhibitors may employ assistants to keep in order tho articles they exhibit, or to explain ithem to visitors, after obtaining written perI mission from the Commissioners to thai effect. ' Free admission, within limits to be fixed by the Commissioners, will bo given to visitor or their agents. ! Effectuul means will bo takon, through tho agency of tho police and otherwise, to guard against fire and protect the property in the exhibition ; but tho Commissioners will not be responsible for losses by fire, robbery, accident, or damage of any kind. Mcdajs or certificates of meriji will be awarded 'in 'the different classes. Prices may bo atfixed to tho articles oxhibited.
