Election Notices. ELECTION NOTICE. ELECTORAL DISTRICT OF WESTLAND. TN pursuance of the provisions of an Act of the General Assembly of Now Zealand, intituled, "The Regulation of Elections Act, 1858," I, George Samuel Salo, Returning Officer for the Eleotoral District of Westland, do horeby give notico, that by virtuo of a Writ bearing date the seventh day of May, 1866, issued under the hand of his Excollonoy the Governor of New Zealand, an eloction will be held for the return of two qualified persons to servo as members of tho Provincial Council for tho said Electoral District, and that the Nomination of Candidates will take place at the Warden's Hokitika, on Monday, the second day of July, 1866, and that tho Poll, if necessary, will be taken on Friday, the sixth day of July, 1866.
