RESIDENT MAGISTRATE'S COURT.

(Before G. G. FitzGerald, R.M.) Satukday, May 19. Drunk and Disorderly. — Samuel Powell, Marion Robertson, John Willey and Thomas Bell, were severally fined £l for disorderly conduct, and 5s for being drunk ; or, in default, four days' imprisonment with hard labor. A further charge of wilful detention of Government property, valued at £1 12s 6d was brought against' Thomas Bell, who was ordered to nay for the property destroyed, or in dctault to be imprisoned for 40 hours. * The Court wns then adjourned until eleven o'clock this day, tho 21st inst.
