' The " General Government Gazette," of the 7th May, contains the proclamation from His Excellency Sir George Grey dissolving the Provincial Council, and appointing Polling Places and Returning Officers for the election of Superintendent and Members of the Council* The following are the arrangements as affecting Westland :—: — Polling Places. Town of Hokitika — Warden's Court. Hokitika. ' Town of Greymouth— Warden's Court, Grey mouth. Westland — Warden's Court, Hokitika; Warden's Court, Greymouth; Warden's Court, Waimca ; Warden's Court, Kaneiri: Warden's Court, Ross ; Warden's Court, Okarita. Phikcipal Polling Places. Town of Hokitika — Warden's Court, Hokitika. Town of Greymouth— Warden's Court, Greymouth. Westland— Warden's Court, Hokitika. RETURNING OrriCßß.
