The West Coast Times is the only Daily Newspaper published in Now Zealand out of Auckland, Christchurch, and Dunedin. It contains in addition t6 Editorial and miscellaneous matter, full re* ports of local proceedings, the Courts pi Law, Publio Meetings, &c. A marked feature of tho Times is the fullness and accuracy of its Shipping information' and its daily reports of Imports. In undertaking the arduous responsibility 'of issuing a daily newspaper of full size and of high character in a young community like Hokitika, the proprietors and conductors of the West Coast Times are actuated by a desire to meet the require* ments of a commerce that has already attained large dimensions, and is daily rapidly increasing. A Monthly Summary will, for the future, be published for transmissidn by ihe outgoing mail for Europe and the colonies. Moro complete arrangements are in progress for the supply of mining intelligence from the various diggings ; and no Effort wiU be omitted to render tho Wbst 3oaßt Times a Fibst-Class Daily JOTJENAL. The subscription to the West Coast Times is 12s. per month, paid in advance. The Quarters commence on the Ist days of January, April, July, and Qctober. Subscribers desiring to commence at any other time can do so by paying for the fractional part of the unexpired ternv Subscribers finding any irregularity in ho prompt delivery of their papers are to communicate with the proI prietors.
