An exhibition of the products, manufactures, artd arts of New South Waled, >outh Anstralia, Queensland, Western Australia, Tasmania, New Zealand, and Victoria, will bo held in Melbourne in 1866. The Exhibition will open not oarlior thin tho month of August, and will remain open for not less than two months. The Commissioners will he prtwed to receive article* intended for exhibitiou from tho Ist to he 21s' of July inclusive. In order to give the Commissioners the opportunity of making adequate arrangements, forms of Application for space should he sent in without delay, and in no case will applications be received later than the l7tb June, 1866. Intending exhibitors are requeat°d to giro A full deaoription of their goods on the form on the other side tvt 1 particularly to describe all points of novelty or originality in tht objects exhibited. Exhibitors must sUtt whether they are the designers, inveutors, manufacturers, or producers of the artiolea they propose to exhibit. The Commissioners reserve to themselves the right to receive for exhibi ion only, and not for competition (if space admit), any object not the pioduce of the above-mentioned Colonies, which may be considered to posse* especial merit. The Commissioners decline to receive any Article they may think unsuitable to the Exhibition, or objects of an inflammatory, offensivo, perishable, or dangerous character. Counter* and wall space will be provided. All goods and articles for exhibition roust be delivered at the building at the oharge and risk of the exhibitor. Artides and packages will be unloaded at tho building. Should the exhibitors or their agents nol be preient, the packages ill pened by the officers of the Exhibition, and tho contents distrinuted with care, but at the risk of tho exhibitor Tiokets will bo issued to every exhibitor, his agent, or servant, to enable him to pass into the building between certain hours to arrange tho articles for exhibition These tiokets must he produced on entrance, and given up when required. Exhibitors may employ assistants to keep in order the articles they exhibit, or to explain them to visitors, after obtaining written permission from the Commissioner 1 } to that effect. Free admission, within limits to be fixed by the Commissioners, will he given to vi&itor or their agents Effecual means will be taken, through the agency of the police and otherwise, to guard against fire and protect the property in ihe exhibition ; but the Commissioners will not be responsible for losses by fire, robbery, accident, or damage of any kind.
