An exhibition of the products, manufactures, and arts of Neiv South Wales, > y outh Australia, Queensland, Western Australia, Tasmania, New Zealand, and Victoria, will be held in Melbourne in 1866. Tho Exhibition will open not earlier than the month of August, and will remain open for not less than two months. Tho Commissioners will bo prepared to receive articles intonded for exhibition from the ls>t to the 21st of July inclusive. In order to give tho Commissioners the opportunity of making adequate arrangements, forms of application for spaco should be sont in without delay, and in no caso will applications be received later than tho 17th Juno, 1866. Intending exhibitors aro rcquosWl to give a full description of their goods on tho form on the other side, and particularly to describe all points of novelty ov originality in tho objects exhibited. Exhibitors must state whether thoy are the designers, inventors, manufacturers, ov producers of tho articles thoy proposo to pxhibit. The Commissioners reserve to themsolves tho right to receivo for exhibition only, and not for competition (if space admit), any object not tho produco of tho above-mentioned Colonies, which may bo considered to possess especial morit. The Commissioners declino to receive any article thoy may think unsuitable to tho Exhibition, or objects of an inflammatory, offensive, porishablo, or dangerous character. Counters and wall space will bo provided. All goods and articles for exhibition must bo dolivered at tho building at tho chargo and risk of the exhibitor. Articles and packages will bo unloaded at tho building. Should the exhibitors or thoir agents not bo present, tho packages will 0 opened by tho oflicers of the Exhibition, and tho contents distributed with care, but at the risk of the exhibitor. ' Tickets will be issued lo every exhibitor, his agent, or servant, to cuable him to pass into the building between certain hours to arrange tho articles for exhibition- These tickets must ho produced on entrance, and givon up when required. Exhibitors may employ assistants to keop in order the articles they exhibit, or to explain thorn to visitors, after obtaining written permission from the Commissioners lo that effect. Free admission, within limits to be fixed by the Commissioners, will bo givon to visitor or their agents. Effectual means will bo taken, through tho agency of tho police and otherwise, to guard against fire and protect the property in tho exhibition ; but tho Commissioners will not bo responsible for losses by fire, robbery, acoidont, or damage of any kind. Mcd ils or certificates of morit will bo awarded in the different classes. Prices may bo affixed to the articles exhibited. Articles of great size and weight, tho placing of which will require considerable labor, must bo Bsnt on or beforo tho 14th of Juno ; and pcnjniH wishing to exhibit machinery or other objects that will require foundations, must make a declaration lo that effect in their application for iJpaco. Any exhibitor whose goods can proporly bo placed together will bo at liberty to arrange Buoty goodu in his own way, provided bis arrangements aro compatiblo with tho genoral scheme of the joxhibition, and tho convenience of other exhibitors. Inhibitors may not remove thoir goods or Hubstituto olhovfe for thorn during the poriod tho exhibition shall remain open withou cavo from the Commissioners.
