Regulations for ins guidance of Intendino Exhibitors. An oxhibition of the produots, manufactures, and arts of Now South Wales, South Australia, Queensland, Western Australia, Tasmania, New Zealand, and Victoria, will be held in Melbourne in 1866. Tho Exhibition will open not earlier than tho month of August, and will remain open for not loss than two months. The Commissioners will bo prepared to receive articles intended for exhibition from tho Ist to the 21st of July inolusivo. Iv order to give the Commissioners the opportunity of making adequate arrangements, forms of applioation tor space should be sent in without delay, aud in no case will applications be received later than the 17th June, 1866. Intending exhibitors are requested to givo a full description of their goods on the form on the other side, and particularly to desoribe all points of novelty or originality in the objects exhibited. Exhibitors must state whothor thoy aro the designers, inventors, manufacturers, or producers of tho artioles they propose to exhibit. The Commissioners reserve to themselves the right to receive for exhibition only, and not for competition (if space admit), any object not the produce of the above-mentioned Colonies, whioli may be considered to possess especial morit. The Commissioners decline to receive any article they may think unsuitable to the Exhibition, or objects of an inflammatory, offensive, perishable* or dangerous ebaraotor. Counters and wall Bpace will be provided. All goods and articles, for exhibition must, be delivered at the building at the charge and risk of the exhibitor. Articles and paokages will be unloaded at the building. Should tho exhibitors or their agents not be present, tho paokages will o opened by tho officors of the Exhibition, and tho contents distributed with care, but at tho risk of tho exhibitor. Tickets will be issued to every exhibitor, his agent, or servant, to enable him to pass into the building between certain hours to arrange tho articles for exhibition. These tiokets must be produced on entrance, and given up when required. Exhibitors may employ assistants to keep in order the artioles they exhibit, or to explain them to visitors, after obtaining written permission from the Commissioners to that effect. Freo admission, -within limits to be fixed by the Commissioners, will bo given to visitor or their agents. Effectual means will be taken, through the agency of the police and otherwise, to guard against fire and protect the property in the exhibition ; but the Commissioners will not be responsible for losses by firo, robbory, aooident, or damage of any kind. Medals or certificates of merit will be awarded in the different classes. Prices may bo affixed to the articles oxhibited.
