An exhibition of tho products, manufactures, and arts of New South Wales, South Australia, Queensland, Western Australia, Tasmania, New Zealand, and Victoria, will bo hold ia Melbourno in 1866. The Exhibition will Open not earlier than tho month of August, and will remain open for not less than two months. The Commissioners will bo pftparM t6 receive articles intended for oxhibition from tho Ist to tho 21st of July inclusive. In order to givo tho Commissioners tho opportunity of making adequate arrangements, forms of application for space should bo sent in without delay, and in no case will applications bo received later than tho 17th Juno, 1866. Intending exhibitors are requostoil to givo a full description of their goods 011 the form on tho other side, and particularly lo desoribo all points' of novelty or originality in the objects exhibited. Exhibitors must state whether thoy are tho designers, inventors, manufacturero, or producors of tho articles they propose to exhibit. Tho Com'misoioilers reservo to themselves tho right to receive for exhibit ion only, and not for competition (if spaco admit), any object not tho produce of tho above-mentioned Colonies, which may bo considered to possess especial merit. The Commissioners decline to receive any article thoy may think unsuitable to the Exhibition, or objects of an inflammatory, offensive, perishable, or dangerous character. v Counters aud wall space will bo provided. All goods and articles for oxhibition must be delivered at tho building at the charge and risk of tho exhibitor. Articles And packages will bo unloaded at tho building. Should the oxhibitors or their agents not bo present, tho packages w ill 0 opened by the officers of tho Exhibition, and tho contents distributed with care, but at tho risk of tho oxhibitor. Tickets will bo issued to every oxhibitor, his agent, or servant, to enable him to pass into the building between certain liours to arrango tlio articles for exhibition. These tickets must bo produced on entrance, and given up when required. Exhibitors may employ assistants to keep in order tho articles they exhibit, or to explain them to visitors, after obtaining written permission from tho Commissioners to that effect. Freo admission, within limits to be fixed by the Commissioners, will be given to visitor or thoir agonts. Effectual means will be taken, through tho agency of tho polico and otherwise, to guard against fire and protect tho property in tho oxhibition 5 but tho Commissioners will not be responsible for losses by fire, robbery, accident, or damage of any kind. Medals or certificates of morit will bo awarded in tho, different classes. Prices may bo affixed to tho articles exhibited. Articles of great sizo and weight, tho placing of which will require considerable labor, must bo sent on or before tho 14th of Juno j and persons wishing to exhibit machinery or other objects that will rcquiro foundations, must inako a declaration to that effect in their application for spaco. Any oxhibitor whoso goods oan properly be placed together will be at liberty to arrango such goods in hisownway,providod his arrangements are compatible with the gonoral soheineof tho exhibition, and tho convenience of other exhibitors.
