James Gregory, being an old offender, was, on the same charge, fined double that amount, with the option instead of spending forty-eight hours in her Majesty's lock-up, Breach or the Dog Nuisance Act.— Thomas Montague and Patrick M'Guire were called upon to 6hew reason why they should not suffer the usual forfeiture for having in their possession dogs not lawfully registered. Through some informality in serving the stlnlmonses neithef of the defendants put in an appearance, set the case was remanded until to-day, and in the meantime fresh summonses will be issued. Obtaining Gold-dust under False PpETE»rcES.--Henry L. Huskinson was charged with having by false pretences obtained possession of two ounces of golddust. He was also charged with having obtained a£l note in the same manner. On the 1 application of Sergeant Hixson, the case was remanded Until the 23rd, for the production of further evidence. No other case, either civil or criminal, having to be heard, the Court was adjourned until 11am. to-day,
