NOTICE.
Several parties residing at a distance from Hokitika, having forwarded advertisements to tin's office without enclosing payment for the samo, we beg to inform the public thut in no case will an advertisement be inserted unless prepaid, except the advertiser has already an account with us, or that the order is sufficiently large to justify us in booking tho same. The annoyance and loss consequent, on the collection of small amounts, especially from parties at a distance, have compelled us to adopt this aourse, which will in future be strictly adhered to.
