We have no material alteration to note since our last ronort, the tendency being in favor of importers.-
Provisions continue scarce 5 first-class bacoi and hams realise Is 10d to 2s. ♦
Cheese is in better supply ; prices are maintained—for colonial, Is 7d to Is 8d ; English, scarce, Is lOd. Butter is 'without alteration, supply good.
Flour remains unaltered ; best Adelaide, L 33 Chilian, L 24 to L2G.
There has been more inquiry for outs, 7s (5d to 8s having been got for good parcels. Spiiits are in bettor demand j brandy and Geneva have changed bunds at au improvement upon our lust quotations.
Good brands of porter are inquired for at 17s to 18s ; ale, Tennent's, I7sto 18s , Allsop's, 17s to 17s (3d.
Oilmen's stores continue scarce, and wellassorted invoices could bo disposed of at a good advance on cost.
