An exhibition of the products, manufactures, and arts of Now South Wales, Soifth Australia, Queensland, Westorn Australia, Tasmania, New Zealand, and Victoria, will bo hold in Melbourne in 1866. Tho Exhibition will open not earlier than tho month of August, and will lcmain open for not less than two months. The Commissioners will be prepared lo icceive aiticlcs intended for exhibition from tho Ist to the 21st of July inclusivo. In order to give tho Commissioners the opportunity of making adequate arrangements, forms of application for spaco should be f.out in without delay, and in no caso will applications ,be received later than the 17th Juno, 1866. Intending exhibitors aro requested to give a full description of their goods on tho form on 'the other side, and particularly to describe all points of novelty or originality in tho objects exhibited. Exhibitors must state whether' they arc the designers, inventors, manufacturers, or producers of tho articles they propose to oxhibit. : Tho Commissioners reserve to themselves the right to receive for exhibiiion only, and not for competition (if spaco admit), any object not ihe pioducoof tho aboveoncntioncd Colonies, which may bo considered to possess especial merit. The Commissioners decline to receive any arlido thoy muy think unsuitable to the Exhibition, or objects of an inflammatory, offensive, perishable, 01 dangerous characler. Counters and wall spaco will bo provided. All goods and arlioles for exhibition must bo delivered at tho building at tho charge and risk of the exhibitor. Articles and packages will bo unloaded at tbe building. Should tho exhibitors or thqir agents not bo present, tho packnges will be opened by the oilicors of the Exhibition, nnd tho contents distributed with caro, bub at tho ri(sk of the exhibitor. Tickets will bo issued' to ovory exhibitor, his agent, or servant, to cnablo him to pass into the building between certain hours to nrrango tho' articles for exhibition These tickets must bo produced on entrance, nnd givon up when required. Exhibitors may employ assistants to keep in order tho articles they exhibit, or to oxplaiu them to visitors, after obtaining written permission from the Commissioners to that cft'ect. Freo admission, wiiliin limits to be fixed by the Commissioners, will ho .givon to visitors or their agents. Efteotiml means will bo taken, through tho agonoy of tho polico and otherwise, to guard against fire and protect the property in tho exhibition ; but tho Commissioners will not bo responsible for losses by fire, robbery, accident, 01' damage- of any kind. Medils or certificates of merit will bo awarded in the diftbrcnt classes Pricey may bo affixed to tho articles oxhibited. Artiolos of great sizo and weight, tho placing of which will require considerable labor, must bo sent on "or beforo tho 14th of Juno ; and poiMons wishing to exhibit machinory 01' other objects that will require foundations, must make a doolamtioii to that ctl'cct in their application for spaco. Any exhibitor whoso goods can properly bo placed together will be at liberty to arr.ingo such goodti in his own way, provided his arrangomonts are compatiblo with thegonoral scbeme'of tho exhibition, and Iho convenience oi othor exhibitors.
