Gin.; 95-hors3 power actual, carries 180 tonH general cargo on 6 ft., light weight, 3 ft. 6 in. ; substan-tially-built iron frame and wood planking, with one plate of iron as ti stringer from ond to end below tho covering boards ; three keels and corresponding keelsons, large deck space, and is licensed to carry 50 passengers, .and has passed all the strict surveys by our Government as a first-class sea-going veasol ; her bottom is flat, strengthened with stringers and knees/to render her adapted for taking the ground in bars or river naviga' ion. Her cabiffs aro on deck, and handsomely fitted with all the modern improve- . ments for comfort and ventilation. This vessel is, without exception, the most suitable boat for Nelson, Grey River, and Hokitika. By removing the deck-house the vessel can be n.ade to draw 12 inches less water. Tho abovo vossel is well-known in Sydney as a first-class steamship, her machiuery is in excellent ropair, and sho could bo sent to sea without expense. Her carrying capicaty is large, and draught of wator very light, rendering her in every way a most desirable steamer for the Hokitika trado.
