MAIL NOTICES.

Mails close as under for — Eanieri, at 9 a.m. of each Wednesday and Batur- day. Waimea, at 4.80 p.m. of Wednesday and Satur- day, Greenstone, at 4.30 p.m. of Wednesday. Overland mail for Christchurch will close at 7 a.m. on Monday mornings until further notice. No lato letter fee will be charged. All letters outwards (except those for Nelson) will in future, by order of tho Chief Postmaster, Christ- church, be forwarded weekly, overland to Christ- church, unless otherwise specially addressed. A Post Office is now established at the Totara, and mails for the above will close at 9 ».m. of every Friday. Mail per Uno will be tnado up for Grey River to-morrow (Thursday) at 3 p.m. MICHAEL KEOGH, Postmaster. Hokitika, 13th September, 1865.
