MOSCOW, Dec 23 (Reed 6 pm).— Ninety-six pages of the third volume of the second edition of Bolshoi Soviet. Encyclopaedia just published are devoted to atomic science, the atom bomb and “a'omir diplomacy.” A section describes as “groundless” American propaganda that the .atom bomb car. alone decide the war. Declaring that the destructive effect is "comparatively not great.” the on-' cyclopaedia ouotes a Ties agency! statement of December 19, 1949. tha* Russia had discovered the secret of i atomic weapons. 1
