Horse Flesh Is Being Shipped From Australia

BRISBANE, Dee. 22 (Reed.. 10pm). —The loading of horse flesh for the first time in Australia has begun at Townsville.

. A shipment totalling 260 tons is being loaded into the Norwegian ship Taiyin fox- Antwerp. The horses are killed at the Cape River meat works and the flesh is frozen. Supplies have been drawn from almost the whole of North Queensland and the works are killing at a.rate of 30 a day.
