Otago Railwaymen Think Auckland Action III-Advised

DUNEDIN. Yesterday (PA).—The Otago branch of the Amalgamated Society of Railway Servants at a meeting yesterday, reaffirmed its decision to abide by the verdict of the nation?! executive which is now sitting in Wellington.

“The meeting considered that the Auckland district was ill-advised in holding the ballot and in tts intention to take direct action,” said the Otago branch secretary, Mr. J. A. Bradshaw. “We also consider it is not fair for Auckland to criticise the executive council because the council has only recently been elected, and is now meeting for the first time.”
