ARGENTINE SELLING MEAT CHEAPER THAN PRICE QUOTED U.K.

LONDON, Dec. 15.—The Argentine Government is selling some of its surplus meat to Peru, Egypt, Germany and Italy, says the “Daily Express" agriculture/ correspondent. “It is being sold at less than the price Peron got from Britain—£97 10s a ton. Argentine is exporting about 55,000 to 60,000 tons of meat in this way. However, she still has about a quarter of a million tons to store —or ship to Britain. Last year Britain bought over 300,000 tons.”
